1. Introduction and Acceptance
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at mydoorman.ai (the “Site”) and the text messaging and voice communication programs operated by Doorman AI Corp. (“Doorman AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing the Site, providing your phone number, or communicating with our AI-powered virtual doorman by text message or phone call, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site or our communication programs.
Doorman AI operates an AI-powered virtual doorman platform (the “Service”) used by residential buildings, property managers, residents, guests, delivery personnel, vendors, and leasing prospects for visitor access, deliveries, maintenance requests, leasing inquiries, and resident support. The Service is provided on behalf of the buildings and property managers that contract with Doorman AI.
2. Text Messaging (SMS) Program
2.1 Program Description
Residents, tenants, guests, delivery personnel, vendors, and leasing prospects of buildings that use the Service may exchange text messages with Doorman AI’s AI-powered virtual doorman. Messages may include replies to inquiries you initiate and service-related notifications about your building, including visitor and delivery notifications, maintenance updates, and leasing information.
2.2 Consent
By providing your mobile phone number to Doorman AI, your property manager, your building, or through our Site, and opting in, you expressly consent to receive text messages from or on behalf of Doorman AI at the number you provide. Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
2.3 Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with the Service and activity at your building.
2.4 Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply to messages sent to you from us and from you to us. You are responsible for any charges imposed by your wireless carrier.
2.5 Opt-Out
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message.
You will receive one final message confirming your opt-out. No additional messages will be sent unless you choose to opt back in, such as by replying START.
You may also contact your building management at any time to change your messaging preferences. If you opt out, we may notify your building management. Critical building notices may be delivered through another channel, such as phone, email, or the building intercom.
2.6 Help
Reply HELP to any message for assistance, contact us at info@mydoorman.ai, or contact your building management.
2.7 Carriers
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
2.8 Privacy

3. Voice Calls With the Doorman AI Agent
3.1 AI Voice Agent
When you call a building intercom or call box that uses the Service, or when the Service calls you, you are interacting with an artificial intelligence voice agent and not a human.
3.2 Call Recording and Transcription
Calls with the Doorman AI agent may be recorded, transcribed, and monitored for quality, safety, training, and service-improvement purposes. By continuing a call after receiving this disclosure, you consent to the recording and transcription of that call.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site or the Service.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site or Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site or Service, including by introducing malware or attempting to gain unauthorized access.
- Scrape, copy, or harvest content from the Site using automated means without our written permission.
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any building, property manager, or person.
6. Intellectual Property
The Site and its content, features, and functionality, including its text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by Doorman AI Corp. or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not use, reproduce, or distribute content from the Site without our prior written permission.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers, including telecommunications and messaging providers such as Twilio. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or failures of third-party services.
8. Disclaimers
The Site, the Service, and all communications are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Doorman AI does not warrant that the Site or Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Access control, security, and emergency-response decisions at a building involve the property manager and building staff. Doorman AI is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doorman AI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, interruption of use, loss or corruption of data, or any matter beyond its reasonable control arising out of or relating to the Site, the Service, or these Terms.
Doorman AI’s total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Site, the Service, or these Terms will not exceed the amounts paid to Doorman AI for the Service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
The state and federal courts located in New York County, New York will have exclusive jurisdiction and venue over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or the Service.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
Your continued use of the Site or communication programs after an update constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
